The inaugural Miffstock Festival in 2001 was spread over two evenings, and featured live performances by The Indigo Sunrise, Dust N' Bones, Myriad, O3, Slaughterhouse, FATM, Everafta, Nematosys & The Brothers Jaf. Set at the Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre Bar, The Indigo Sunrise set about the task of calling in as many favours as possible to resolves the issues of PA, staging, staffing and security requirements. The practical support we received from friends, family and fellow musicians for the event was unbelievable. So many people pulled together to help us get the event off the ground, and the final result was one that didn't disappoint. Around 400 tickets were sold and this profit, combined with miscellaneous donations, and the infamous Miffstock Charity Cup Football tournament, generated a grand total of £2,000. |
